The Samsung T7 SSD And The iPad

Long story short: It works with an iPad Pro. But you have to register your fingerprint on a Windows PC or Mac first.

Samsung was kind enough to borrow me one of their new T7 SSDs with a fingerprint reader. I recommend the T5 (the previous model) all the time. Especially for iPad Pro users.

The T5 is still my first recommendation. But if you like the idea of a fingerprint reader or just need double the speed get the T7. Once you have registered your fingerprint the T7 works with all my devices. Just touch the sensor with the right finger and the SSD unlocks. It couldn’t be any easier.
